Last Friday, March 1st, our 8th Graders were informed by their prospective Catholic high schools, if they were accepted for the Freshman class in 2024-2025. We are very excited to share with you, that 100% of our senior class in 8th Grade has been accepted to one (or multiple) of their desired high schools, to which they applied. Additionally, 40% of the Class of 2024 earned a merit scholarship, and some students will continue to receive need-based financial awards.
Catholic high school applications involve years of high-quality education, many application essays, entrance tests, recommendations, interviews, and more. I wish to thank our outstanding team of educators at St. Augustine School for the incredible preparation of our 8th Grade students. Endless hours were spent preparing our graduating class with much dedication, expert support, and love for each child. Many of our students started in our Preschool, TK, or Kindergarten classes, and their learning path was gravely disrupted by a global pandemic that stretched over four important learning years.
Our students' success is our joint success! This is true for our entire SAS Family, students, parents and educators alike! It is an incredible testament to our resilience, strength, diversity, faith community, excellence in Catholic education, and our students' full human potential. Thank you, SAS Family, for this great accomplishment! Go Saxons!
Blessings, Dr. Nguyen.
